Michael Graves Design Monthly Delight Feature: Meet Noam

For this month's Monthly Delight Blog Feature meet Noam Platt, a healthcare architect and founder of the nonprofit MakeGood! Read on to find out more about Noam's story!

Tell us about yourself, what's your story?

I am a healthcare architect (designing hospitals and clinics) but I also use my skills to invent new assistive technology through my nonprofit MakeGood. We have delivered 2000 pieces of assistive tech, much of it novel, and we are creating a new way to access much needed design services for the disability community.

What is one thing you'd like our readers to know?

Everyone had an important role to play in creating a world that is responsive to the needs of all people.

What led you to Michael Graves Design?

I love his architecture background being used to improve the world at all scales.

What do you love most about the company Michael Graves Design?

The implicit understanding that all of us will experience disability. I can see it in the design work.

What do the Michael Graves Design canes bring to the table that others were lacking?

I think a real sense of fun.

What is your favorite Michael Graves Design product?

I am a big fan of the hospital transport wheelchair. It makes many much needed improvements while maintaining a great look.
