The Tea Rex was designed by Michael Graves in 2015 to mark the 30th anniversary of the 9093 Whistling Bird Teakettle. The form is unchanged. What changed is the whistle.

In place of the bird, a dragon perches at the spout: part mythological creature, part flying dinosaur, finished in copper metallic resin. In Chinese culture, the dragon is a symbol of strength and good fortune. On this kettle, it sings when the water boils.

Same mirror-polished stainless steel body. Same arch handle. Same rivet details. A different creature at the spout, and a different feeling on the stovetop.

Made in Italy. Works on all cooktops, including induction.
