The 9093 Whistling Bird Teakettle turns forty in 2025. To mark the occasion, Alessi produced this anniversary edition in matte black colored stainless steel, with one deliberate contrast: an orange bird at the spout, drawn from Michael Graves's own color palette.

The form is unchanged. The same conical body, the same arch handle, the same bird that sings when the water boils. The black finish deepens the design, making every line and detail more pronounced. The orange bird makes it unmistakably MGD.
