A Closer Look
The 9093 has been in continuous production since 1985. The bird at the spout is the whistle. When the water boils, it sings. That detail made the kettle an icon.
The Liber-Tea edition keeps all of it and adds a layer of meaning on top. The 13 stars at the base trace back to the first colonies. The navy, cream, and brass come from the uniform General George Washington wore, the country's earliest visual identity, before the stars and stripes. The words on the lid are the ones Thomas Jefferson wrote into the Declaration of Independence. A working kettle that also carries a piece of the story.
