DESCRIPTION

Given access to the entire Alessi portfolio, Virgil Abloh selected the Michael Graves Design Whistling Bird Teakettle for his collab with Alessi. Named the 3909 kettle, the Abloh Kettle mixes two different cultural aspects: the phenomenon of basketball and its multicultural imagery, an integral part of Abloh's personal history, with the world of design. The Michael Graves Design figurative bird whistle has been redesigned, now taking the form of a basketball player, while the colors of the handle and the knob are lit with an intense purple.
