The first movements of the day often happen before both feet reach the floor. Turning onto the side. Pushing up to sit. Pausing at the edge of the mattress. Standing. Getting dressed. Each step is ordinary, but the bed rarely does much to support it.
The Farmhouse Bed begins with those movements. Pull-and-roll grips support the turn. Armrests offer a natural place for the hand while sitting or standing. The footboard becomes a 19-inch-high perch for dressing, while open compartments below keep blankets, baskets, and bedside objects organized.
The support system, seating, and storage are all resolved within the warmth of a hand-finished solid-wood bed. Nothing feels added on. The Farmhouse simply gives the beginning and end of the day a more considered place to happen.
